  Most of our orders are shipped with-in 3 days of received and cleared payment.  
  Please allow approximatley 2-3 business days for order processing and an additional 4 -10 days for delivery.

• How will I know I am progressing?

  How to Fashion Design with Bob Martin is set out to teach by repetition and in a progressive sequence. As you go through each lesson, you will be able to evaluate the pace at which you complete the lesson, and skills you have gained with each DVD.  Bob will give you questions, to help evaluate your completed work.

• What if I need help with a skill or project from the DVD?

  “How to Fashion Design with Bob Martin” is set up for you so you can work at your own pace. You can return and review any portion of the DVD at any time. This gives you the ability to perfect your skills and techniques. Our website is informative on these topics. Our Resource Center and Interactive Studio is a Great way to find helps related to the subjects and a good place to communicate with others that are working on the same projects.

• How much time will be involved in completing a lesson?

  How to Fashion Design with Bob Martin DVD program allows each individual to complete a lesson at their own pace.

• Will I get recognition after completing the program?

  How to Fashion Design with Bob Martin is a Program that trains you in ALL the 3 Core Elements of Fashion Design. We do not issue a Degree but our DVD Program Will Teach you the necessary Skills.

• What payment methods do you accept?

  We accept Visa and Mastercard Only. We DO NOT accept personal checks or money orders.

• After I have placed an order can I check its status?

  Yes, once your purchase has shipped you will receive an email confirmation within 24 hrs. That email will contain the tracking information for the merchandise shipped.

• What is your return policy?

  We have a RISK FREE, 30 Day Money Back Guarantee on the Preferred Designer’s Package ONLY. It must be returned within 30 days of the purchase confirmation email, along with the completed Return Authorization Form. If any DVD’s are purchased separate from the Preferred Designer’s Package they are NON RETURNABLE no refunds will be given. All other unopened merchandise may be returned within 14 days of the purchase date. Unopened means that the merchandise MUST BE in a factory sealed box with the seal unbroken. Shipping and handling costs plus a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping and handling is non-refundable on ALL items including the Preferred Designer’s Package. Merchandise purchased originally with Free Shipping will have standard ground shipping and handling fees deducted from the refund. Return postage is the customer’s responsibility. All Returns are subject to inspection before a refund is given. Please Contact Customer Service for your Return Authorization Form. There are no full or partial refunds for the Interactive Studio, Resource Center, purchased videos or patterns, downloads, or Ask Designer Bob.

• What if my item has a manufacture Defect?

  If there is a defect in your manufactured product, please contact us at customerservice@howtofashiondesign.com and we can assist you.

• Can I cancel my order?

  If you place an order on our website, you can not cancel the order, once your order has been submitted. See our Return Policy. We do reserve the right to cancel any order including back ordered merchandise or unauthorized payments.  To cancel the Resource Center and Interactive Studio, If you have purchased the Resource Center you will gain access immediately and be able to sign in with your store login.  This will cancel on it's own at the end of the duration that you purchased.  For the Interactive Studio you will receive an email with your login in information and when your access begins.  About 1-2 weeks prior to your subscription ending, you will receive another email that you need to renew or your membership will run out.  You MUST renew before your membership runs out in order to keep your current login information.  If you should renew after your subscription ends you will have a new user name and password.  Sorry but there are no partial or full refunds for the Resource Center or Interactive Studio. 

• Is the ordering process secure?

  Yes, all of your online transactions are comleted on our secure server.

• What is the suggested age to start How To Fashion Design?

  The ability of each individual varies. Our professional opinion, is that at age 12 most individuals have adequate skills and interest in the subject to begin How to Fashion Design with Bob Martin.

• Is there a certain order to complete the DVD program?

  Our DVD Program is divided into numbered lessons. Each lesson MUST be completed in chronological order to insure the best opportunity succeed.

• What equipment do I need to begin this course?

  If you already own a sewing machine, you will Only need to purchase the Preferred Designer’s Package and that is it!  Everything you need will be at your door step, ready for you to begin the moment it arrives.

  You may purchase just the DVD lesson, and you will receive a supply list.  Our Professional Advice is that you purchase the Preferred Designer’s Package , as you will have to find ALL the exact supplies you need otherwise.

• How do I use a gift card?

  When placing your order you can provide the gift card code in the “apply a gift card” section. This will deduct the gifted amount from your total. Gift Cards are nonrefundable, cannot be used to purchase gift cards, and are not redeemable for cash.

• How do I unsubscribe to the newsletter?

  There is an unsubscribe link at the bottom of your Newsletter. Click on that link and it will unsubscribe you. Click Here to Sign up.

• I forgot my password, how do I get it sent to me?

  Passwords for the Interactive Studio and the Resource Center are stored encypted - even we don't know your password!  You can get a new temporary password sent to your email address, you will then have to change your password the next time you log in.

• How do I contact you if my question is still unanswered?

• Which Pattern do I receive with the Garment Construction DVD, a download or paper pattern?

  When you purchase the Garment Construction DVD individually or in the 3 DVD set you will receive information inside the dvd case, on how to download your pattern.  If you have purchased the Designers Package with the kit, you will receive an envelope containing a paper pattern.  If you would like to purchase a paper pattern, you can do so in our Online Store here. 

• What if I would like to buy a Paper Pattern?

  If you would like to purchase a paper pattern or get a replacement, go to our Online Store.

• Where can I find the DVD Supply List?

  The supply list can be found by clicking the "DVD Supply List" at the top of this page or on the Resource Center page.

• How can I get a machine like Bob's?

• Will the DVD's play on my laptop?

  Your computer must have DVD compatable software as well as a DVD drive to play the DVD's .
